• 1982: On Nov 24, founded Couto & Sons Construction, focusing on building homes and launching a successful career as a home builder.
• 2008: Partnered with his son, Donny, to establish Couto Homes, sharing a philosophy of building dream homes and a commitment to excellence.
• 2011: Achieved a significant milestone by selling over 50 houses annually for three consecutive years.
• 2013: Recognized as Best Builders in Hood County. Awarded the  Showcase House in Hood County.
• 2014–2025: Founded a new venture, Al Couto Homes, continuing his legacy in the industry. steady growth and built a reputation for quality and excellence, delivering dream homes to countless satisfied clients.
